Cultural Heritage Committee
The Cultural Heritage Committee (CHC), originally recognized as the Black History Committee, began as a concept solely focused on planning Black history events. This committee represents the Black/African diaspora...Jamaicans, Nigerians (other Africans), Trinidadans, Bajans, Britans, etc, along with Black Americans and their supporters.
Our goal is to organize events and collaborate with students, families, staff, administration, and organizations to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of all Holmes students through representation and engagement of the Black/African diaspora. The events and activities we create will reflect the diversity of Black/African cultures within the Holmes community and all are welcome.

2025 Black History Month Assembly
We had the honor of welcoming The Mogul Nation & Agape Collective—four brilliant artists who delivered an incredible performance celebrating the richness and brilliance of Black culture.
We also love when our alumni and older siblings return to give back. A special shoutout to the amazing Savi Netisingha, Saja Netisingha's big sister for coming back to assist.
